Shea Butter & Eczema?
Shea Butter is great as a natural treatment for eczema and many other dry skin conditions due to its high amounts of natural vitamin A and fats; which all help to heal any scarring on the skin. It moisturizes the skin while soothing the itch sensation with its anti-inflammatory properties.
Shea Butter’s awesome for eczema, and has even been a cure for many people – due to its complex mixture of essential fatty acids and emollients that are naturally present. Shea butter is an effective eczema treatment because it gets into the heart of the underlying eczema condition, helping with reducing the skins abnormal allergic response. And, with the repair of damaged skin cells helping to seal up cracks in the skin which often lead to infection, which makes it an ideal skin care agent. Over time it helps soften areas of skin that has a leathery, hard surface.
What to look out for when selecting a product which contains Shea butter.
African Shea Butter is one of our magical ingredient in our moisturising products. The best type of product to buy for eczema will always be the most organic product and least refined as possible. You are on safe side with our products as it contains nothing that is NOT organic or real. Considering our customers skin, to make our product full of strength to be able to fight the stubborn skin dryness, we use a generous amount of African organic Shea Butter. Always important to confirm the amount of Shea butter a product contains and if it’s organic? Although it may be slightly effective with mild dry skin – just not as good as the organic stuff for eczema and other skin conditions!
After only a week you should see a big improvement in your eczema, psoriasis or any other dry skin condition. This should be both physically and visually, redness and soreness WILL reduce quite quickly.
